On Days Two, Threeand Oven, international business leaders shared their insights on how to operationalize excellence in our lives and businesses.
Day 5 was a little different. We had the International Business Plan Competition participants present their business plans to a panel of judges. It was inspiring to see the creativity and passion that these entrepreneurs have for their businesses!

Nehemiah Week 2022 Day 5 Highlights
Devotion
We started the day with a word of prayer from the Regional Director for the Nehemiah Project in Africa, Frank Kitonga.
After meeting the judges and reviewing the rules, the competition began and we saw some amazing presentations from businesses in various industries.
Our competitors were:
- Joy and Jino from India
- Dominic Gitau from Kenya
- Jennifer Mbundani from France
- Jason Centeno from USA
Joy and Jino
Representing the Asia Pacific Region, Joy and Jino are the founders of Joshua Farms, an agribusiness that seeks to reduce unemployment and poverty in India by helping farmers market their farm produce and by providing them with access to quality seeds and inputs.
Jino and Joy gave a compelling presentation on the plight of farmers in India and the solutions they are implementing that are changing lives and having a lasting Kingdom impact in India.

Dominic Gitau
Dominic hails from Kenya and represented the Africa region. He is the founder of Joy Fresh Produce, an agribusiness in Kenya that supports horticultural farmers by providing them with quality seeds, financing, and markets for their produce.
Dominic, who became winner of the People’s Choice Award at the competition, presented a bold vision that sees Africa feeding the world in the next few years.
Dominic is representing the African region in the International Business Plan Competition and hopes to retain the trophy in Kenya for the third time in a row.

Jennifer Mbundanie
A resident of Paris, France, Jeniffer represented the Europe Region with her business plan for “La Bane Box”, a company she hopes to launch in 2023.
A unique book club, La Bane Box caters to each individual client, creating personalized reading experiences. Jennifer Mbundani LA BANE BOX aims to not only make reading fun for everyone but also promote literature through best sellers and novels.

Jason rye
The North America region was represented by Jason Centeno with his Trashmitter busines plan. As the world becomes more and more aware of the importance of sustainability, Trashmitter is at the forefront of waste management solutions. The company makes recycling not only easier but also more convenient and rewarding for individuals.
Through their latest technology, they are able to provide scheduled trash pick-up and even allow users to track where their waste goes after it is picked up.
