As part of the Biblical Entrepreneurship Program, the Regional BE Business Plan Competition brings together the BE Students selected to represent their country.  The Country BE Students present their ten-minute Summary Plan presentation for the opportunity to represent their Region at the annual International BE Business Plan Competition held during Nehemiah Week.

Competition Objectives:

1. Presenters receive feedback to improve their business plan from qualified
2. Presenters demonstrate their calling, ability to make their business sustainable, and their vision in front of a panel of judges
3. Presenters practice defending their business plan and vision in front of a panel of judges
4. Build support from the community and other stakeholders around their vision
5. Connect the presenters with resources to start or expand their business
6. Flagship for what BE can do in the marketplace
7. Select the Presenter that will represent the Region at the International BE Business Plan Competition

Gabriel Oleko @ 5x - Nehemiah E-Community

Pastor Gabriel Oleko is a devout Christian, loving father, husband, pastor, teacher, speaker, coach and entrepreneur. He is the founder and president of Le Nouvel Horizon (BE program in France) and the founder of Basilea Training (the BE program in DR Congo). He is also the founder of Elevation Academy private school in Kinshasa, DR Congo. He is the senior pastor of Eglise La Mosaïque located in Paris, France and the regional director for Nehemiah Project Africa. He also sits on the board for Le SEL (Compassion International France). Pastor Gabriel is married to his lovely wife, Sylvie Oleko, with whom they share two wonderful kids, Emmanuel and Dorothée.

Frank Kitonga is the founder of Blueflame International and a Certified Biblical Entrepreneurship Trainer and Coach who is passionate about transforming the marketplace through kingdom principles and creating impact.

He is happily married to his dear wife, Grace and they are blessed with 5 children.

As an Elder, he has served the church for more than a decade and has been serving in various other ministries for more than 20years.

He has many years of experience in business, having successfully grown multiple businesses. Among them is Nuru Social Enterprises (NSE), where he was president. He grew the business an unprecedented 4x in his tenure. In the same way, he built a global consultancy BoP Innovation Centre in the East African region from scratch to a vibrant business with a high-value portfolio.

Frank also has professional experience in supply chain, finance, procurement and information & communications technology, gained during his tenure in the corporate world.

Debra Schlaht joined the Nehemiah Project team in 2010 after completing the Biblical Entrepreneurship Program for her coaching and consulting practice following a 22-year banking career as a Sr. V.P. in management, training and development, and project management.  She also obtained her Six Sigma Green Belt designation. Debra’s roles include the Director of Training and Coaching, Chief Cultural Officer, and Founding Partner for KBC International.  Her responsibilities include supporting the NPIM network of Directors and Trainers, leading the Trainer and Coach Certification, overseeing the Operation 100K Jobs program, and assisting the human resources processes for the NPIM team.   Debra’s purpose is to serve God by helping His people achieve their kingdom purposes. She lives in Tigard, Oregon, USA, and has two sons.

lorna mutegi circle - Nehemiah E-Community

LORNA MUTEGI has always thought of herself as a fun-loving person with the desire to inspire people in one way or another. With a degree in International Relations and having minored in Marketing, she flourished in the corporate world for over ten years, holding managerial positions in the different sectors of the transport & courier industry, PR & media, and events industry. Her entrepreneurial spirit, however, came alive after going through a long wilderness period.

Lorna’s journey into the heart of God reminded her who she was born to be. Taking part in the Identity & Destiny program was the game changer! Her purpose was clear and has never looked back. She is now a biblical entrepreneur with a heart for the youth and women.

She is a certified trainer with the Nehemiah Project International Ministries, Nairobi Kenya where she passionately transforms ordinary entrepreneurs into biblical entrepreneurs. She also guides
individuals seeking to find their true identity and God-given purpose (Identity & Destiny Course).

Lorna currently lives in Nairobi with her two beautiful daughters, Alyssa and Sienna.
